I'm creating the bibliography for a family history book. Many of my references are online images from FamilySearch. For any given census year, I might have citations for people living in different counties or states. The Quick Check Model for Digital Images on p. 237, uses a template of "Jurisdiction. Census ID, Schedule. Format. Website Title. URL. Year." The examples given in following pages of EE follow this model.

When a person is searched and identified on people search sites like PeopleFinders and BeenVerified, how is this cited?

I am trying to create a source citation for a St. Louis, Missouri Declaration of Intent for a "Leizer Poupko" from 1932, found on Ancestry.It is grouped with his Petition for Naturalization, filed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1937. If you have access to Ancestry, it is the first result when search  with his name. Typically, when I cite, I like to describe the underlying source, usually some NARA publication and microfilm roll. In this case, I am stumped as to the actual source Ancestry used. They cite some recordset that spans 1845 - 1911. But this is a 1932 record.

I have a number of programs from various types of performances involving various relatives. One is of a performance called Forget Not  A Pageant of the History of Argyle 1764-1964. The program contains the names of the actors and their parts. It also contains various types of information including synopsizes about the various "episodes" that were performed.  The program was given to me as I did not attend this performance.

This is a long standing question for me, but I had thought I knew the answer.

Question: When  Citing a Census Record, should the Citation be a Per Person Citation or a Household Citation ?

Looking that EvidenceExplained and the Ancestry QuickSheet, the examples were not household based, it appeared to be for each individual.

I am trying to cite several newspaper articles in one footnote.  They came from different newspaper titles in different cities.  Let's say I found all the the articles on the California Digital Newspaper Collection on the same date.  I'm struggling with how to identify the access in the citation.  It seems really long if I do

In the 1810 census for Natchitoches Parish, La., we find a single woman as a head of household who appears to be identified as Madam (abbreviated) Spade.  Note what appears to be the lower case w appearing after the abbreviation and before her surname Spade.  Note that only females live in this house.  This record is from a USGenweb project file, but I have also reviewed National Archives records and noted that on the page or two immediately preceding this one, the census taker called another single woman Madam with the lower case w following the abbreviation.  I know of personal knowledge

I am delving into Quebec Notarial records for the first time, and am fascinated by the treasure trove of knowledge they've been providing. Truly breathing some flesh on my ancestors' skeletons of names, dates, and places.

That being said, I am trying to craft these citations to best reflect the fact that the image was viewed online, and in the case of FamilySearch among browsable images.
