NorwegianSardines, by longstanding practice, source list entries carry periods between elements—making the words that identify each element a "sentence" of its own. By longstanding practice in English, the first word of a new sentence is capitalized. Thus, the one word for this description, "Database," is capitalized and then followed by a period.
An exception to that capitalization practice occurs in source list entries when the element consists only of a URL. In that case, each letter of the URL is rendered in upper or lower case, exactly as it appears in the URL. That point is also demonstrated in the two source list entries that you query.
